Angels first baseman Kendrys Morales underwent a three-hour procedure on Thursday during which a doctor cleaned up scar tissue and debris and did a bone graft on his left ankle. Morales elected earlier this month to undergo a second operation on the leg he broke last May 29 while celebrating a game-winning home run. According to the Angels, the operation went "according to plan." Morales had his first surgery last June 10, but ran into repeated setbacks in his rehabilitation. He won't return this season.
