Mets third baseman David Wright will fly to California on Tuesday to see a spine specialist. The team is continuing to develop a plan to rehabilitate the stress fracture in Wright's lower back. A group of team doctors has already examined Wright. "This isn't necessarily a second opinion," Wright said. "It's part of the process in getting better. This guy, from what I understand and what I've been told, is one of the best back doctors in the country." Wright remains consigned to inactivity since landing on the disabled list on May 16.
