The front office hasn't made an indications, but The New York Daily News wonders whether the Mets could consider trading right-hander Mike Pelfrey prior to the July 31 trade deadline. If Pelfrey pitches well, the Mets may be able to get a decent haul from a team in search of pitching depth. He is under control of his team for two years after this one.
