Tigers reliever Joel Zumaya has been transferred to the 60-day disabled list and may require more surgery on his right elbow. Since his stay remains retroactive, he will be eligible to pitch again in May if healthy. Zumaya continues to have pain in the tip of his surgically repaired right elbow. If Zumaya doesn't pitch again this season, he might never pitch for the Tigers again. He�s eligible for free agency after this season no matter how much time he spends on the disabled list.
