The Phillies have placed reliever J.C. Romero on the disabled list. The left-hander is dealing with a strained right calf. Lefty Mike Zagurski was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to take Romero's roster spot. Romero is 0-0 with a 3.86 ERA in seven games this season.
