Mets outfielder Carlos Beltran has been given clearance to resume baseball activities.
He expects to take batting practice in a cage as he's not ready for live batting practice or to start working in the field yet.
Beltran hasn't played since serving as a designated hitter Feb. 6.
He complained of swelling and pain in his left knee -— which is not the knee he had been rehabilitating -— after the game and was diagnosed with arthritis.
