Phillies second baseman Chase Utley is still waiting for results on exactly what is wrong with his troublesome knee.
The knee didn't respond to a cortisone shot last Friday, leaving the team to consider "other options."
Utley has played through numerous physical issues in the past, including knee tendinitis, but he admitted Wednesday that he can't do that this time around.
"I think at this point, we're not trying to find the easy way out," he said. "I'm trying to look at this in the big picture, and that's the frustrating part, because I think everyone that knows me best knows that the only place I'd rather be is on the field. So it is disappointing. But right now it's probably not in my best interests to be out there."
