The Yankees will be without catcher Francisco Cervelli for at least a month because of a broken foot. He fouled a ball off his left foot in a spring game on Wednesday and an MRI revealed the extent of the damage. Cervelli, who was engaged in a three-way competition for the backup catcher spot with rookies Jesus Montero and Austin Romine, is walking with the aid of crutches and will have his foot immobilized in a boot for a minimum of four weeks.
