The Journal-Sentinel's beat writer couldn't confirm the trade. For Greinke and shortstop Yuniesky Betancourt, the Royals would receive outfielder Lorenzo Cain and shortstop Alcides Escobar, along with minor-league pitchers Jake Odorizzi and Jeremy Jeffress.
