The Blue Jays are set to trade right-hander Shaun Marcum to the Brewers in exchange for Canadian second baseman Brett Lawrie. The trade should be finalized on Monday pending physicals. Marcum was Toronto's Opening Day starter after missing the entire 2009 season following Tommy John surgery. The Jays have long coveted Lawrie, a 20-year-old second baseman from Langley, B.C. The converted catcher was selected 16th overall in the 2008 June draft of amateur players.
