Lorenzo Cain is making a bid to be the Brewers' full-time center fielder next season. Cain went 4-for-5 on Saturday and was hitting .413 with one homer and seven RBIs in his past 11 games heading into Sunday's season finale. "That was an impressive day," manager Ken Macha said. "I'd still like to see him play winter ball. Experience is a good thing to have." Cain, 24, is batting .306 with 11 doubles, a homer, 13 RBIs and six stolen bases in 144 at-bats. "I always say that players write the lineup," Macha said. "He's put himself in a position to play everyday."
