Reyes will lead off for the Mets on opening day, followed by catcher Paul Lo Duca, center fielder Carlos Beltran, first baseman Carlos Delgado, third baseman David Wright, left fielder Cliff Floyd, right fielder Xavier Nady, second baseman Anderson Hernandez and pitcher Tom Glavine. Floyd's spot in the order, sixth, is a departure from last season, when he mostly batted cleanup. Randolph said that Floyd's spot this season would sometimes depend on whom the Mets were facing.
