Rockies outfielder Brad Hawpe cleared waivers Wednesday, according to sources. Colorado has made it clear they would like to trade Hawpe to open up more playing time for the recently recalled Eric Young Jr. The Denver Post reported Wednesday that the Rockies are also considering designating Hawpe for assignment or releasing him if they can't work out a deal.
