Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez left Monday night's loss to the Tigers in the fourth inning because of a tight left calf. Rodriguez didn't appear to hurt himself in either of his two at-bats against Detroit's Max Scherzer. New York outfielder Nick Swisher left in the sixth inning with tightness in his left forearm. "Would I be a little bit surprised if he [Rodriguez] played tomorrow? Yes," Yankees manager Joe Girardi said. "But not completely. Whenever a guy comes out, you don't expect him to play the next day. But maybe he'll be available to us as a DH. I'm just not sure yet."
