Jonathan Sanchez predicted the Giants would sweep the Padres this weekend, but picked up the loss on Friday. "I believe in my team," Sanchez said after the game. "I have confidence in them. Nothing against (the Padres), but we keep fighting against them. If we keep playing like that, better and better, I think we're going to make it." After earning the save, Heath Bell returned the favor, saying, "I like how (Sanchez) is fired up. I do the same. Sanchez, I thought he pitched a pretty good game."
