Twins catcher Joe Mauer received a cortisone shot in his right shoulder on Saturday night. He is expected to miss two games after having the shot following Minnesota's 4-0 win over Seattle. Mauer has been dealing with tendinitis since he took a foul tip off the shoulder earlier in July.
