Anibal Sanchez pitched a one-hit, complete game shutout against the Giants on Thursday. Buster Posey had his hitting streak snapped at 21 games, one shy of tying Hall of Famer Willie McCovey's San Francisco rookie record, set in 1959. Pablo Sandoval recorded San Francisco's only hit. "I had fun with it," Posey said. "It would have been something cool to have. But at the same time, I know who Willie McCovey is -- I didn't know he had the Giants rookie record hitting streak. ... I guess in a way it's kind of nice the attention will go back to (the team and winning) instead of the streak. After my first at-bat I tried to slow down a bit and be more patient because he was throwing so much offspeed stuff."
