As we await an official announcement of the trade between the Yankees and Mariners that will send Cliff Lee to New York, there are a number of other deals possible in Seattle. The Mariners have relievers David Aardsma and Brandon League to shop, and infielder Jose Lopez is expected to draw some interest as well. Seattle could even trade re-acquired first baseman Russell Branyan if they see Jesus Montero, who they are expected to land from the Yankees, as a first baseman.
