Dave Eiland and CC Sabathia believe the pitching coach has spotted the reason Sabathia was ineffective Sunday night against the Mets at Citi Field. After watching video of the start in which Eiland was away from the team for his daughter's confirmation in Florida, Eiland spotted a mechanical flaw. "He wasn't getting out over his front side," Eiland said. "And he was leaving his breaking ball up in the zone, not down to right-handed hitters or away from left-handers." Sabathia gave up six runs (five earned) and 10 hits (two homers to Jason Bay) in five innings in the Yankees' 6-4 loss.
