The Braves have signed Minor League free agent Mike Daniel. Daniel, once considered one of the more promising hitters in the Washington organization, was released by the Nationals on Tuesday. Daniel has struggled the last few years; spending most of last season with AA Harrisburg, as well as 11 games with AAA Syracuse, he hit just .253 with a .692 OPS, along with 7 home runs, 44 RBI, and a career high 7 triples.
