The Reds still don't know when Aroldis Chapman will make his big league debut.
"We still don't really have a timetable on him," Reds general manager Walt Jocketty said. "We have to see how he continues to progress."
Forecasting Chapman's arrival is also a challenge because the Reds currently lack space in their rotation. Although starters have a combined 5.39 ERA this season, they have improved to a 3.20 ERA over the last nine games. Fifth starter Mike Leake, who was the eighth-overall pick last summer and beat out Chapman in camp, skipping the Minors, has been the club's best starter to date.
