With free agency waiting to embrace him in November, Cardinals lefthander Mark Mulder on Thursday offered some simple advice to anyone interested in future negotiations: Talk to my agent. Mulder, whose 88 victories tie reigning AL Cy Young Award winner Bartolo Colon for most in the majors the last five seasons, said he has turned over all contract issues to his agent, Greg Clifton. Talks with the Cardinals have yet to begin, according to Clifton and the club. Mulder insists he won't be jangled if they wait. "Is this the place I want to be? Sure," Mulder said as Cardinals pitchers and catchers officially reported to Roger Dean Stadium. "But it's not something I can control. It's not something I'm going to worry about. I want to worry about games and getting ready for the season. "Am I going to stress over this? No. It's not my personality. It's not Greg's first rodeo, so I'm going to let him handle it."
