A relieved Arizona Diamondbacks closer Brandon Lyon said Friday that doctors believe rest, not surgery, is what is needed for his injured right elbow. Lyon said a second opinion from Los Angeles Angels doctor Lewis Yocum confirmed what Diamondbacks team doctor Michael Lee had believed, the "irregularities" in Lyon's elbow would not require reconstructive surgery. "Dr. Yocum kind of reassured me that right now it's nothing to take too seriously," Lyon said, "just take a rest right now and let Mother Nature take over and see how I feel in 10 days."
