Colorado Rockies second baseman Aaron Miles was placed on the 15-day disabled list Thursday with a right intercostals strain. Miles suffered the injury during Wednesday?s loss to the Milwaukee Brewers. The 28-year-old Miles is hitting .297 this season with a home run and 14 RBI. He has also scored 21 times. Last year, Miles led all National League rookies with a .293 batting average and was tops among all major league rookies with 153 hits and 75 runs scored.
