Reds starter Aaron Harang has undergone an emergency appendectomy and will miss the remainder of the season. "It's kind of been our year," manager Dusty Baker told the Associated Press. "You get one guy back, and ... You get [third baseman Scott Rolen] back and then you lose Harang ... This is beyond ridiculous here." Harang is the ninth Reds player currently on the disabled list, and the fifth from their Opening Day roster.
