The Brewers are working on a trade involving utility man Bill Hall. Milwaukee designated Hall for assignment on Aug. 12, giving them 10 days to trade or release him. "I'm working on something," Brewers general manager Doug Melvin told MLB.com. "I've gotten some interest. I don't want to say which teams have called or what we're working on, though." Hall has $10 million left on his contract, meaning that the Brewers would need to take on another large contract or pay some of what Hall is owed.
