Braves general manager Frank Wren has indicated that the team is unlikely to make any moves prior to Friday's non-waiver trade deadline. Atlanta is known to have checked on some available relievers, including Oakland's Michael Wuertz. However, the players believe that they can win with their current lineup. "It's been a blast coming back from the All-Star game knowing you've got a chance to play in October," catcher Brian McCann told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "There's a good mix of guys here. This team has a chance to win. We've proven it the last month and a half. We just have to keep doing it the next two months. "This team is really good." Atlanta is eight games back of Philadelphia for first place in the NL East, but sits just three games back of Colorado in the Wild Card race.
