The Brewers are interested in getting pitcher Jarrod Washburn from the Mariners. Washburn will become a free agent after the season, which means it's highly likely that Milwaukee would be renting him for just a couple of months as they did with CC Sabathia last season. However, Washburn is a Wisconsin native and the team is hoping that they would be able to convince him to stay.
