The Dodgers are now believed to be showing serious interest in Roy Halladay. Executives familiar with the situation claim that the Blue Jays would prefer to deal Halladay out of the division, giving teams like the Dodgers an edge over the Yankees and Red Sox. The Dodgers have a ton of young, talented players that would interest the Jays, but it's a matter of what Los Angeles is willing to give up. "(The Jays) would want something from the Dodgers' major-league roster," one competing executive said. However, the Dodgers are unlikely to relent and give up either Chad Billingsley or Clayton Kershaw from their rotation, or young outfielders Matt Kemp or Andre Ethier.
