Rockies third baseman Garrett Atkins is starting to look like the odd man out. Colorado has five players to fit in four infield spots, which means someone will have to sit with regularity. "It's going to create a problem, one a manager likes to have," Atkins said. "I feel better at the plate. Hopefully, I can keep swinging well and help the team." Atkins is hitting just .194 with five home runs and 20 RBI this season. He has flirted with .300 in each of the last five years.
