Derek Holland plans on throwing a curveball on Wednesday night for the first time since he was pitching for Wallace State Community College in Alabama in 2006. "This will be the first curveball," Holland said. "I?ve been using it a little more and working on it on the side. I have confidence in it right now, and that?s all that matters. I?m confident in what I?m bringing to the table." Holland went 5 2/3 innings in his first big league start Friday in Houston, but he didn?t figure in the decision.
