Mets first baseman Carlos Delgado could soon land on the disabled list if his injured hip doesn't improve. Delgado hasn't played since Sunday because of the injury, and was pulled out of the lineup on Friday after he was initially hoping to return. "I'm hoping that he's not going to go on (the DL)," general manager Omar Minaya said. Delgado insisted he has no tear in the hip, just inflammation.
