Angels outfielder Gary Matthews isn't happy with his role, and could waive his no-trade clause in order to facilitate a move. "We've had conversations that we like to keep private, keep behind closed doors," Matthews said. "We've had candid conversations with Tony (Reagins, the Angels general manager). We've had candid conversations with Mike (Scioscia, the Angels manager). They've been honest with me. I've been honest with them." Matthews is projected to be the team's fifth outfielder, despite the five-year, $50 million contract he signed before the 2007 season.
