Orlando Hernandez will be placed on the 15-day disabled list by the White Sox. Hernandez, 5-1 with a 3.91 ERA, has a sore muscle in the back of his shoulder, White Sox general manager Kenny Williams said Saturday. Hernandez had been scheduled to start Sunday's game against the Cubs. The move to the DL would take effect Sunday, and the team is expected to call up Brandon McCarthy from Triple-A Charlotte.
