General manager Brian Sabean said Wednesday he cannot see trading Jonathan Sanchez for a hitter. Sabean also said Sanchez has a leg up on Noah Lowry for the final rotation job. Sabean saw Sanchez throw in Arizona on Tuesday and called him "bigger and stronger. He's ready to pitch. I have a hard time thinking we could trade this player for value. Plus, he's the incumbent. Lowry is going to have to unseat him."
