Infielder Pablo Ozuna and the Chicago White Sox agreed Friday to a one-year contract that pays him $500,000 if he is in the major leagues next year and $330,000 if he is in the minors. The 31-year-old Ozuna ht .276 with 14 steals in 70 games last season, his first with the White Sox after signing as a free agent in the offseason. Ozuna scored the winning run in Game 2 of the AL championship series against the Los Angeles Angels after entering as a pinch-runner and stealing second. He made 52 starts, including 30 at third base, 11 at shortstop, eight in left field and one in right field. Ozuna is a career .271 hitter in 136 games over parts of four major league seasons with Florida (2000-01), Colorado (2003) and the White Sox.
