Left-hander Jeff Fassero re-signed with the Giants, agreeing to a one-year deal. Fassero, who will turn 44 in January, went 4-7 with a 4.05 ERA last season, his second with San Francisco. He made six starts and appeared as a long reliever, yielding just a .194 batting average to left-handed hitters.
