Diamondbacks' outfielder Eric Byrnes could miss the rest of the season because of a left hamstring injury, according to The East Valley Tribune. Surgery is reportedly a possibilty, which would quickly end his season. "I think you?re looking at four to six months (of recovery time) for that type of thing," Manager Bob Melvin said Thursday. Byrnes has missed 25 games this season with tears in both hamstrings. "We?re still trying to figure out how severe it is in there and how far the tendon is off the bone," Melvin added.
