Nationals' reliever Chad Cordero has a tear in the right labrum of his shoulder and will miss the rest of the season, according to The Washington Post. He will have surgery in the coming days. "I think he probably was, because he said it didn't hurt, but we didn't see the velocity," pitching Coach Randy St. Claire said of whether or not Cordero pitched with the injury. "Normally with Chad -- he wasn't a mile or two off. He was 10 miles per hour off. He said there was no pain, so we thought it was maybe just weak."
