St. Louis Cardinals' 1B/OF Chris Duncan has struggled since assuming the starting first baseman?s job following Albert Pujols? injury. He is 3-24 (.125) with no home runs and one RBI in six games, when the Cardinals went 3-3. Duncan has undergone a regression in his development this season that has seen him sent back down to Triple-A before being called up again after Pujols? injury. As a hitter, Duncan has shown the potential to be a good power threat in the middle of the line-up; but, he has a pretty long swing, and his slugging percentage of .344 is seventh on the Cardinals among everyday players. At this point, Duncan just isn?t a good major league player and no matter his versatility, shouldn?t be on a fantasy roster.
