Baker?s suspension is scheduled to begin tonight, when the Reds continue their series against the Padres. New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount for his inappropriate actions, which included kicking dirt on Umpire Chris Guccione, during the bottom of the ninth inning of his Club?s game last night against the Baltimore Orioles at Yankee Stadium. Girardi is scheduled to serve his suspension tonight, when the Yankees host the Seattle Mariners. Padres hitting coach Wally Joyner has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount for coming onto the playing field to argue during the bottom of the sixth inning of his Club?s Wednesday, May 21st game against the St. Louis Cardinals at PETCO Park in San Diego.
