Rich Hill has had preliminary talks with the Boston Red Sox about a return to the club next season.
The 42-year-old said the two sides have "mutual interest" in a deal.
Hill will be a free agent after the World Series. He posted a 4.27 ERA over 124 1/3 innings in 2022.
