The Major League Baseball Players Association has reiterated its desire to continue negotiations with the league after Rob Manfred announced the cancellation of the first two series of the regular season.
Tony Clark stated that the union was willing to reengage with the league as soon as Wednesday after Tuesday's league-imposed deadline for a deal passed.
Clark added that the union never aligned with the owners setting Tuesday as a firm deadline.
