Two members of the Seattle Mariners are headed for free agency after the club declined options in their contracts.

Yusei Kikuchi could have exercised a one-year player option ever after the Mariners declined a club option, but the pitcher will seek a contract elsewhere after struggling over the second half of last season.

Seattle also announced that it would not be picking up the option on Kyle Seager.

His option would have been for $20 million, but both sides seemed ready for the relationship to come to an end. Seager will receive a $2 million buyout.
