The Los Angeles Angels have recently considered offering Mike Trout a record-breaking 10-year, $350 million contract extension.

The contract would run from 2021-30, meaning Trout would finish out the remaining two years on his current deal.

He's owed $66.5 million over the next two seasons.

The $350 million guaranteed would be the highest in baseball history, quickly besting the $330 million that Bryce Harper received from the Philadelphia Phillies. It would also set a new mark for average annual value at $35 million.
