The Texas Rangers will not take advantage of this offseason's slow-moving free agent market.
Jon Daniels said Thursday that he doesn't expect the club will pursue a left fielder or reliever from the remaining free agents.
Greg Holland remains unsigned and the Rangers lack a proven closer in camp.
"I don't expect we will have any significant additions," Daniels said.
