The Arizona Diamondbacks have avoided arbitration with Patrick Corbin by agreeing to a one-year, $7.5 million deal.
Corbin, 28, was 14-13 with a 4.03 ERA last season and made $3.95 million.
Including Corbin, the Diamondbacks entered Thursday with 12 players eligible for arbitration.
