Ichiro Suzuki isn't going to wait around for the Yankees to decide if they want to re-sign him as he has begun talking with "multiple clubs," according to his agent.

That doesn't mean Ichiro won't return to New York, but rather that the free agent is looking to increase his options.

"There has been a lot of interest [from other teams] but he enjoyed playing for the Yankees so much it’s hard for him to say no to the Yankees," agent Tony Attanasio said. "His preference is to stay there instead of going someplace else, but we'll wait and see."
