The Mariners are moving the fences in at Safeco Field and they are searching for a bat capable of capitalizing on the change.
"It's come up already in some discussions with agents," Jack Zduriencik said of the decision to make Safeco more hitter-friendly. "They say, 'Hey, our player knows you've moved your fences in.'"
He wouldn't reveal any targets, but the Mariners have been linked to Josh Hamilton in some reports.
