The Angels are denying that they have already decided not to re-sign Torii Hunter.
"Finding a way to fit Torii in is a challenge, but we have been open that we want him back," Jerry Dipoto said. "We haven't closed the door on Torii and he hasn't closed the door on us."
It was reported Thursday that Hunter's time in Los Angeles is over.
The Angels have a crowded outfield, with Mike Trout, Mark Trumbo, Peter Bourjos and Vernon Wells.
